So here is an update from the world of my son Eli. He has had a lil setback. Good news is he is off the ventilator and is breathing on his on with help form a oxygen thingy. Bad news is he still has air in his chest so his chest tube remains in. They are also having problems keeping an iv in him, so he may possibly have 2 have surgery for the docs to put a feeding tube like thingy in his chest. He also has johndas or how ever u spell it. Instead of getting out in a week, he may be in there 3 more weeks. It's been very very tough for Britt and I and I havent got much sleep. Please keep us all in your prayers and i will continue to update everyone as info gets to me.

Eli update
So my baby boy Eli Ray Keys was born on 10-21-10. Unfortunately it's been a rough start to life for him. Friday morning Eli had one of his lungs collapse and he had to be ran to Roanoke Memorial. Fortunately they were able to stabilize him. Right now he is on a ventilator. As of last nite, he had made alot of progress and is close to breathing on his on and could possibly be off the vent as soon as tomorrow. He's a brave lil boy already and is a fighter. Right now everything is improving alot and he is expected to make a full recovery with no long term affects. As for me, is been a very rough few days, days that I have not slept. I have finally got a place at the Ronald McDonald house here and I have to say its a wonderful place. Also, the staff at Roanoke Memorial have been fantastic. I know my lil one is in good hands. I will eventually lay down here and hopefully finally get sum sleep. Sorry 4 any typos in this Blog but 3 days without sleep can get to ya. My wife finally got down here today. They had 2 keep her at Princeton until she could recover. She in pain but will be ok. I gotta think my folks for all they've done 4 me throughout these past few days. They've helped me out alot. Also gotta think my bestie Cassie. She's been here 4 me and idk where Id be without her. She truly is a great friend and person. Sorry folks for the delay in updates but lack of descent internet and a laptop that is on edge of not working kinda puts things in the rough. I will update ya'll asap.
